Chorus America/ASCAP Adventurous Programming Award – 2012

Chorus America and ASCAP awarded the 2012 Adventurous Programming Award to the Santa Fe Women’s Ensemble in May 2012. The selection panel “unanimously agreed that the Santa Women’s Ensemble’s programming in the 2010–2011 season reflected not only a commitment to the music of our time, but a daring and ambitious spirit in its presentation, especially as you seek to broaden the repertoire for women’s voices.” The Ensemble was honored to receive this prestigious award and is distinctly proud of its dedication to the mission of commissioning and performing new music, shown by an impressive list of new choral works for women’s voices.
