OUR 43rd SEASON

What a spectacular and busy season, filled with beautiful and uplifting music!

Our December Winter Lights concerts featured a variety of seasonal music exploring how radiance—whether candlelight, moonglow or friendship—helps us survive the cold of winter.

Our April concerts were Giving Voice to Our Song: Music of Joy and Resilience. They included inspirational pieces that encourage us to stay strong when facing challenges and adversity, and to tap into the joy within. Talented musicians Dana Winograd, Diana Sharpe, Dave Anderson, and Ensemble accompanist, Bill Epstein, enhanced our performances. The concert highlight was this year’s commission by composer Marie-Claire Saindon. Entitled The Voyage, this stunning piece used the poetry of Linda Studley.

Also in April, we offered a very fun, interactive Children/Youth Concert for children/youth and their accompanying adults. Colorful scarves, dancing with teddy bears and swirling gymnastic ribbons made the day extra lively! Check out some of the photos on the link above.

Our Together Again! concerts in June in Durango and Santa Fe, our fourth collaboration with the Durango Women’s Choir, directed by Rhonda Muckerman, were such a joyous reunion and celebration! The individual sets and three joint pieces covered a powerful and touching array of music written for women’s voices.

Following are some highlights from the April concerts audience comment cards:

  • “The harmonies and the voices.”
  • “Your music choices are so inspiring and uplifting.”
  • “Just when I thought I heard it all you surprise me with more delightful pieces. Such talent! Bravo!”

We so appreciate your sharing this music with us and are looking forward to next season!
